Melrose Place has lost a high-end haven of European antiquities, but it could be scoring a Stockholm-bred fragrance brand in its place. Last month, we revealed that Byredo was "looking at retail locations" in LA for its first Stateside flagship, and now comes news that the stylish scent makers are expected to take over Connoisseur Antiques's vacated boutique in the newly-minted Melrose District.
The approximately 2,400-square-foot space is located next door to interior decor showroom Paul Ferrante and across the street from Nine Zero One's soon-to-open salon. The label's perfumes, colognes, body products, and home fragrances are currently stocked at Barneys in the U.S. No confirmation yet from Byredo's camp; stay tuned for more!
